PREPARE

Pre-Setup Check

Before starting setup, confirm that your device can open ordinary websites normally. The VPNOJ client must be obtained from the user panel, and the subscription can only be accessed after signing in. If the underlying network is not working, downloads, syncing, and route tests will overlap, making it difficult to identify the source of a problem.

If another tool that changes your network route is running, disconnect it first and quit its background connection. There is no need to rush to delete old configurations saved on the system, but do not let multiple connections control the network at once. The goal is to create a clear starting point: use your existing network before importing, then check whether the exit region changes after connecting.

Next, prepare a browser you use regularly and confirm that it can save downloaded files. Windows and macOS usually access the client download area through the user panel; Android and iOS users should also check the same entry for platform-specific instructions. This site does not provide direct installer links on marketing pages because client downloads and subscription delivery are managed in the account panel. The entry shown after sign-in reflects the current account status.

If you are working on a managed office device, system permissions may be controlled by an administrator. If installation, adding a network configuration, or enabling a system extension cannot continue, check the device policy first instead of repeatedly importing the subscription. Permission controls and complex network environments are beyond this short guide; see the Complete Access Guide for route and regional access principles, or visit the Help Center to troubleshoot a specific issue.

ACCOUNT

Create an Account

Once you reach the account entry point, choose a username and password. VPNOJ does not require an email address; these credentials are all you need to sign in to the user panel later. Choose a username you can recognize easily, and store the password separately rather than reusing a public nickname or something easy to guess.

After submission, the page will either sign you in or direct you back to the login entry. Once signed in, you should see the account overview, plans, client downloads, and other service areas in the user panel. Stay on the overview page first and confirm that the username is correct; there is no need to copy anything yet. If no plan has been activated, the subscription section may not show usable configuration details. That is normal—return to it after completing checkout in the next step.

If you need to sign in again after refreshing the page, use the username and password you just saved. Do not create multiple accounts to solve a login problem, because orders and subscriptions belong to the account used to complete the purchase. If the password cannot be confirmed or the page status has not updated, return to the login page and sign in again. For further assistance, contact support through the ticket entry in the user panel.

PLAN

Choose a Plan and Check Out

Once the account is ready, open the Plans section in the user panel. Monthly subscriptions are based on data: ¥9.9/month includes 60GB, ¥18/month includes 250GB, and ¥28/month includes 500GB. Data resets monthly on the activation date; if you upgrade partway through a cycle, the difference is prorated by the remaining days. You do not need to start with the highest tier—estimate your typical usage first. Text browsing and lightweight tools use less data, while watching high-bitrate content or transferring files frequently uses more.

For less predictable usage, the Plans section also offers data packages that never expire and remain available until used: ¥158/300GB, ¥358/1000GB, and ¥658/3000GB. Monthly subscriptions and data packages are measured differently. Confirm the plan name and allowance shown on the page before continuing, rather than judging by price alone and overlooking the reset rules.

The checkout area lists Alipay, WeChat Pay, and USDT. Choose a payment method that works for you, review the order details, and complete payment as prompted by the panel. Do not repeatedly submit the same order during payment. After payment, return to the account overview and wait for the order status to update. If the page remains on checkout, review the result in the Orders section; there is no need to create another account.

VPNOJ monthly subscriptions and data packages both support unlimited simultaneous devices, making them suitable for use across your own devices. The service also includes a 7-day no-questions-asked refund. The main differences between plans are the data allowance and measurement method, not separate purchases for each device. See the Plans page for a complete comparison, upgrade details, and refund FAQs; this guide keeps only the steps needed for your first activation.

SUBSCRIPTION

Get your subscription from the dashboard

After the order status updates, open the account overview. First confirm that the service status and remaining data are displayed, then find the subscription or client-import section. A subscription is not an ordinary public URL; it carries the route configuration available to your account. Copy it only into a client you control, and never post it in public chats, forums, or online parsing pages.

The panel may offer options to copy the subscription, import it quickly, or open the client download area. For a first setup, get the VPNOJ client for your platform from the panel and then use its quick-import option. If the client is already installed, copy the subscription content and import it manually in the client. After copying, do not open it in the browser address bar or treat it like a normal webpage for testing.

If the guide needs to show what a subscription format looks like, use an obviously fake value such as:

https://example.com/sub?token=YOUR_TOKEN

The address above does not provide any service; it only illustrates that a subscription is usually a piece of content you can copy. Actual configuration must come from the signed-in user panel. If the copied content has extra spaces or line breaks, use the panel’s copy button again instead of editing the characters manually. An edited subscription may not be recognized or may stop working when routes refresh.

If the overview shows that the service is active but the subscription entry is still missing, refresh the account status first and check whether the order is complete. If it still has not synced, keep the order details and submit a ticket from the panel. Do not switch repeatedly between accounts: when the purchasing account differs from the account viewing the subscription, the overview will naturally not show the same service.

Open Account Overview Get the subscription only from the signed-in user panel.

IMPORT

Import on Each Platform

Open the client download area from the user panel and choose the VPNOJ client for your current system. Both download and installation entries should come from the account panel; this page does not provide static installers. After installation, return to the overview to copy the subscription, or use the panel’s quick-import option. The common entry points for each platform are outlined below. Client versions may change the labels, but the sequence remains: install the client, import the subscription, and sync the routes.

DESKTOP

Windows

In the client download area of the user panel, choose Windows, get the VPNOJ client, and complete the installation. After launching it, look in the main sidebar or configuration area for an entry such as “Import Subscription” or “Add Configuration.” If the panel offers quick import, keep the client open and click the corresponding button in the panel. For manual import, paste the subscription content you copied earlier and confirm.

After importing, the client should display a route list or configuration name. Sync or update it first, then return to the connection page. If the system asks for network access permission, confirm that this is the newly installed VPNOJ client and continue. If no routes appear, do not reinstall repeatedly. Check that the subscription belongs to the account with the active service, then try syncing again in the configuration area.

DESKTOP

macOS

Choose the macOS client in the user panel and follow the on-screen installation steps. On first launch, macOS may ask for permission to add a network configuration or system extension. Approve the request in System Settings and return to the client. Without the required permissions, the client may import the subscription successfully but still be unable to establish a connection.

Open the client’s subscription, configuration, or profile area, choose Import from Clipboard, paste the content copied from the panel, and save it. Then run an update so the client can load the current routes. If you dismissed a permission prompt, open System Settings and check for pending approvals. For more complex macOS permission handling, see Mac VPN: A Zero-to-Connected Guide; this page does not repeat those details.

PORTABLE

Android

Open the Android client entry from the user panel and obtain the VPNOJ client according to your account status. Install and launch it, then look for an add option in the home menu, configuration page, or subscription manager. When importing from the clipboard, first confirm that it contains the subscription just copied from the panel. Then enter an easy-to-recognize configuration name and save it.

After importing, run an update and wait for the route list to appear. On the first connection, Android displays a system confirmation dialog for the network connection; check the app name and allow it. If switching back to the browser replaced the clipboard content with other text, copy the subscription again from the account overview rather than entering it from memory. If syncing fails, switch back to a stable underlying network and try updating again.

PORTABLE

iOS

Check the iOS acquisition and import instructions in the user panel, then open the client entry provided there. In the client, use Subscription Management or Add Configuration to import the subscription. If the panel offers a quick link, launch it directly from the signed-in browser. For manual import, choose Add from Clipboard in the client and save the configuration.

When you start the first connection, iOS asks for permission to add a network configuration. Confirm it, complete authorization with your device verification, and return to the client to choose a route. Authorization only allows the system to accept the connection configuration; it does not select a route. Check that routes have synced in the client before continuing to connect and verify the exit region.

VERIFY

Connect and Verify

Once the subscription has synced, return to the route list in the client. Choose a region that matches the service you want to access; if you are only checking whether setup worked, choose a route relatively close to your current network. Click Connect and wait until the client shows Connected before continuing. Do not switch repeatedly between routes while the connection is still being established, or system status and client messages may not sync in time.

A Connected status in the client is not the only check; verify the actual exit route as well. Open this site’s Network Check page and note the displayed region, then disconnect and reconnect for comparison. If the exit region changes as expected, system traffic is being handled by the client. Next, open the target website or app and confirm that it loads normally. Pages opened earlier may retain an old connection, so close and reopen them.

If the client says Connected but the exit region has not changed, disconnect first, quit other network tools, and reconnect to the current route. If only one target service is unavailable, switch to a route matching that service’s region and reopen it. The relationship between route selection and regional content can be complex; see the Complete Access Guide for the differences between account region, exit region, and route type.

If no route can connect, check these three items in order: whether the account overview shows an active service, whether the client subscription has been updated, and whether the system has granted permission for the network configuration. If the service still does not work after these checks, open the Help Center and choose “Connection & Troubleshooting.” When submitting a ticket, include the operating system, the message shown in the client, and the checks you have completed. This is more useful than simply saying “it won’t connect.”

After verification, everyday use only requires opening the client, updating the subscription, and choosing a route. When adding a device, repeat the process: get the client from the user panel, import the current subscription, then connect and verify. VPNOJ supports unlimited simultaneous devices, so you do not need a separate account for each device you own. Keep the subscription content only on devices you control.
